CHURCH BUILDING, FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT

GENERAL STATEMENT
 
  Trinity United Methodist Church building and facilities is maintained by its members   and friends to serve this community.  Its use is not restricted to its members.
 
  To all who desire a church setting and/or who will use the building and facilities
with reverence and good taste—you are most welcome to use the church under the direction of our staff.
 
CHURCH BUILDING USE
 
Groups inside and outside the church wishing to schedule events or meetings at the church must clear the date with the church office and have the event put on the church calendar.  A representative of the group will need to fill out a REQUEST FOR USE OF CHURCH FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT form.
 
Church groups and Committees have preference of building use.
 
Non-profit organizations may use facilities without charge:  however a donation for use of the church facilities is welcomed.
 
Those responsible for groups must see that lights are turned off and furniture returned to their places.  When church committees or commissions are meeting in the church it will be the responsibility of the chairperson to unlock doors before the meeting and lock doors after the meeting.  The chairperson may request a key from the church office.
 
It shall be the right of the pastor or Board of Trustees to grant or refuse permission for groups to use the church and equipment.
 
FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT
 
No furniture or equipment shall leave the church premises without permission of the pastor or Board of Trustees.  Requests should be made by filling out the “Request Form For Use Of Church Property And Equipment”.
Altar furnishing are not to leave the church building without the permission of the chairperson of the altar guild, pastor, and Board of Trustees.  A “Request Form For Use Of Church Property And Equipment” must be filled out at the church office.
