EDUCATION AND OUTREACH NEWS Trinity UM Children and Youth News November 2010 Children’s Church: Sunday, November 7, 14, 21, and 28th after the Children’s Sermon Any child age 4-5th grade is welcome to attend Children’s Church. Each lesson will include a Bible lesson, song, game, and snack. Children’s church will be held upstairs in Trinity Hall. Sunday School: Sunday, November 7, 14, 21, and 28th from 9:00-9:50am. This group will meet before the 10am service and is open to children ages 5 through 6th grade. Please come and join the fun in Trinity Hall! Christ Kid’s Club: Sunday, November 7 and 21stfrom 6:00-7:30pm. Kids club is for kids age 4 through 5th grade. We will be starting a new series called "Story Keepers". Each lesson will include a video Bible story, craft, game, snack, and song. Our Sunday evenings promise to be entertaining! Youth Group: Sunday, November 7, 14, and 28th from 6:30-8:00pm. Youth group is open to all students’ grades 6-12. We will continue to work our way through the Liquid Series and to plan for future Mission trips and projects. Each lesson will focus on a Biblical principal and practical ways to apply this principal to our lives. We will also be planning fun group outings to continue our fellowship within the community. Girls Club: Sunday, November 21st from 6:30-8:00pm. Girls club is open to all girls in grades 5th-8th. This group talks about the issues young girls’ face in middle school. We will continue to work our way through the Girls of Grace book.
*The Youth will be distributing Thanksgiving meals for "Friends for Food" on Saturday, November 20th. We will meet at 7am and travel to Rocky Grove Fire Department. After working we will fellowship at Eat’n Park for Brunch! All youth and friends are invited to help with our mission work. *Sunday, November 28th the youth will help decorate the church for Christmas during their regularly scheduled meeting time. Please contact Chris Luxbacher (437-6050) if you would like to volunteer to teach, help, or fellowship with any of the kids and/or their programs. We would love to involve as many of the church members as possible.
